Sheldon and Ginat Rice happily announce that they have just finished writing two books that they’ve been working on for the past several years. Ginat's book looks at recovery from illness with macrobiotics from the eyes of those who have done it. Sheldon examines cultural traits of behavior with the tool of numerology. Ginat’s book is entitled “Food, Faith and Healing: 40 Macrobiotic Accounts of Cancer and Serious Illness.” It is based on hundreds of accounts of people who used macrobiotics to face cancer and other illnesses. It includes interviews with macrobiotic practitioners, teachers and counselors experienced with the macrobiotic lifestyle. The book is a personal account of how Ginat dealt with breast cancer after 20 years of macrobiotic practice, and the understandings she derived about well being thanks to the collective views of the people she interviewed. 

Sheldon’s book is called, “Personality and Numerology: The Collective Behavior of Peoples from 21 Countries.” It provides a deep understanding of the collective behavior of people in many countries based on information derived from numerology readings. One of his many fascinating insights reveals the underlying causes of three long-standing conflicts in Arab countries and Israel; in Turkey and Greece; and in India and Pakistan. Other topics include the personality traits behind honor killings, the source of the French and Italian zest of life, and the differences between individualistic societies such as the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom, and family-oriented societies that predominate in the Middle East, Far East, and many European countries.
